A. Adamantine Golem (Construct 30). On Normal difficulty, it has 185 hp, AC 33, Fort +10/Ref +9/Will +10 saves, DR 15/magic, spell immunity, and construct traits. It makes two +43 Slam attacks for 6d10+13 damage. Given how hard it hits and its low Reflex save, I recommend taking it down with a heightened Grease (1) spell. If you don't have that, then use Displacement (3) on your tank as well as other buffs. Regongar's a particularly good tank for this battle, since he can get Mirror Image (2). Octavia can sneak attack it with Acid Splash (0). This is a very doable battle for a level 11 to 12 party. Once it takes about half damage, Harrim will break it. Gain 2,400 exp. Jarmuld Skegge and his dwarves thank you for the rescue. The conversation options will change depending on how you finished Harrim's prior Companion Quest: Unwanted Legacy. For purposes of this walkthrough, I'll assume you obtained the Heart of the Anvil, back at the Dwarven Ruins/Bronzeshield Fortress (in Act 2). Jarmuld reveals that Harrim has a rare gift: the Touch of the Unmaker, which can put an end to Dwarven creations that have lived past their time. There's a hidden Lore: Religion DC 25 check that lets get additional dialogue and say: "Harrim, his words make sense. ..." I don't think this it's necessary for you to select this, but it can't hurt if you're aiming for the best ending. Harrim will smash the Golem to obtain the Heart of the Golem. For the best result, select the option: "[Give Harrim the Heart of the Anvil] ..." This completes the quest. B. Jarmuld Skegge.
