This, to me, is what good no-code primitives look like. Primitives that allow you to customize how you view your data. Not just pre-fabricated components where someone else decides what representation is useful to you. Having the ability to design custom components to present data in the way that I prefer is something I've wished I could do in Notion since I started using it 4 years ago.
The walled-garden direction with Projects is not one I am particularly excited about, and I feel like there's a noticeable tonal shift happening in the community right now related to this. Coupled with little data portability, this can make Notion a difficult sell for long-term data storage.
